We have wintered our sloop Cat Coquette at Basimakopouloi Shipyard(BS) in a number of years and feel that the most important thing of our stays there, is the feeling that all is safe and all agreed work will be carried out before you arrive. On the rare occasion that a problem has occurred, this has been corrected without delay and with no discussion. After having called on 60 different countries around the world, we still have to look hard to find a place where we have met a more dedicated and professionel staff as in BS. There is no better feeling than when your boat is in good hands! We look forward to come back this spring, maybe there will even be a ladder to get onboard with?

Багато років ми мандруємо Cередземним морем. Вже 9й рік залишаемо свій парусний човен у портах та маринах на зиму. Дві зими простояли у BS у Кілладі. Чіткість у роботі при lift/launch, точність планування, гнучкість та доброзичливість у роботі з кліентами.. За 9 років - ви кращі! All is very precisely, professional & halpefull. You are the best in my 9 years experience in Mediterranean.

Due to the dead of our skipper our Motorsailyacht Dufour Atoll 43 was staying for more than 3 years. They have offered due to the situation a very special price. all of them took care for the vessel and when I sold it they helped me with replacing valves, chaine etc. always very effivient and not shitting as most of the yardsground in Greece try to do. If we might have a vessel again I will stay definetly in Kilada at Baskomopoulos.Like friends and family.
We have stayed in Basimakopouloi Shipyard for many years for the winter and summer period since 2008 and we will not look anywhere else because of the very good service. Anytime we arrive after several months of sailing, we feel like coming home. The yard did some major jobs for us (replacing the teak deck by a polyester deck, installing a new engine) for our 42 years old Trintella and in both they did wonderful jobs.
Outre une qualité d'accueil exceptionnelle, le sérieux de ce chantier est réellement hors du commun,à tous les niveaux : manutentions, travaux, sécurité, services. Aucun reproche ne peut lui être fait et vivement le mois d'avril le plaisir de retrouver cette bien sympathique équipe.
Réactivité aux demandes, professionalisme, matériel de levage performant, bers métalliques et gentillesse en prime. Ce chantier est à chaudement recommander pour l'hivernage ou l'estivage à sec. Kilada est situé dans une zone idéale pour la croisière et à 3h de voiture de location one way (réservation à Ermioni) de l'aéroport d'Athènes. Manque un bac de rinçage moteur hors bord.

Basimakopoulos Shipyard. 'SIMPLY THE BEST' Our yacht has been with this family run boatyard for the last 4 years. The level of care is exceptional ! Yani the eldest son runs the show assisted by many other family members. The level of skill and knowledge is vast. No problem is too difficult to the very helpful and staff. Any work we have had done has been finished to a very high standard. The cradles your yacht are stored in are steel fabricated from RSJ type steel beams, very heavy and strong. The technology that moves the yachts in cradles is the best I have ever seen in 35 years of owning and cruising yachts in European waters. A local hire car company supplies cars to drive from Kilada to Athens and Athens to Kilada.
